[urq] High beam indicator stuck on, high beam stalk has no effect- what did I break?

Yup, exactly the problem. M. Mills apparently has that spare hardware already in his possession. IME with these switches on euros without relays, they fail due to the heat in the switch... A electrical load problem of the euros causing a mechanical failure of the switch. When this same issue happened to a buddy's 5ktq years ago, I lent him one of my kids stuffed toys, which when properly zip tied to the back of the stalk, held the switch in the 'low' position

The problem with the dimming switch sounds mechanical not electrical.
Pull it toward you and it will latch the high beam switch in the on
position.
Pull it again and it releases it.
It sounds like the mechanism to release the latch is broken.
