Dunno If it counts, but I have had VWs forever.
1st was an 1979 Passat (so basically a series 1 audi 80) that I bought from
my parents in 1989. My dad bought it in 1981 to replace an R reg Dolomite
1850 that failed its 1st MOT at 3 years old because the floor had rusted
out.
We have had a minimum of 3 VWs or Audis in the family ever since (currently
4). I keep trying to get my mother to buy a Skoda Octavia though.
The other long termer that we have is a 1962 AH sprite that my dad bought
from Colliers in Abertillery in 1963, oddly enough it apparently used to
belong to Eddie Butler's dad if you follow the rugby on the BBC.....

I can top that a bit, Frank. Got my first Audi in 1983, nearly 30 years
ago. Nothing else since except for the better half's cars which have mostly
been Japanese.
