Also just a thought, although I cant remember which model I know in the Porsche world there is a replacement bracket to swap from the mini York to a more modern and hence efficient rotary pump.  Maybe worth looking into.

 do not have a spare York laying around, but give these guys a call. Ask
or Joe or his wife Gretchen. They have helped me and Uncle Bob (Pastore)
