What I did years ago with a brake servo that I got out of England which had
a shorter rod was to use a coupling nut and a section of threaded rod (or a
bolt with the head cut off) to extend the rod to mount the clevis and have
adjustment. You should be able to do the same with the clutch MC rod, but
I don't know how far off things are (you may need to shorten the MC rod
more and/or thread it further so that the coupling nut and new section of
rod have room).
