Yes , I have first hand experiance .
Not with an AAN , altough that is scheduled in my '81 urq , but with a 7A
in a coupe quattro body .
Exactly thesame shell , except for the enlarged fenders .
In an nutshell .
No body modifications are needed . Also the i nterior trim all fits as it as
.
Except for a six speed shift knob .
GEt rid of all procon ten backetry if there is any .
Two custom transmission mounts made in 6mm stainless .
Possably the RS2 mounts will fit , never been able to test fit them it .
Front driveshafts from an S2 or RS2 .
You'll need the fronts struts and all that goes with them .
Prop shaft , I machined a 15mm shim cause the six spd is a little shorter
then the 016 .
Speedo , the internal gears from the 016 fit the CRB .
CBR diff cover needs t o be tapped , and a custom cable mount needs to be
machined
on the lathe . Could be done withouttapping if a press fit is made .
Done that to a few times .
Shiftlinkage :
Various bit's n pieces froem an urS4 , and a custom made linkage .
This was the hardest part , took me more then a day to get it right .
I'm sure there are other solutions , but that's the way I did it and the
car's a daily driver for 5 years now .
