Air con looks factory, same components as all of the North American cars,
including the HVAC panel inside the car.
Not to say they were not added later on, however all OEM on that front.
The dash is a hybrid, the tachometer is from early cars while the speedo and
both temp and fuel gauges from a later cars.
Cheers
Martin

An interesting little motor.
1984 or early 1985 model year - the front is pre-sloping facelift. Speedo
and odometer in miles - not common, because by this time almost all european
ur-quattros had the green digital dashboard and Patrizia. I think only
Sweden and Switzerland retained the dials in Europe - but they were in
kilometres.
So - did it have the dials retrofitted as a condition of import? If so, did
they leave Patrizia? It also has cruise control, which is quite a rarity
over here - although I generally see three ur-quattros a week (I was working
on Nigel Mansell's yesterday) I very rarely see cruise controls.
As regards the dash - am I not right in thinking that the original dial
version of the dash had a boost gauge opposite the fuel gauge? They do look
like me to be Coupe GT dials.
It's missing the door rings and a coach stripes, too.
The aircon system isn't one of the normal ones fitted over here - they're
both made by Davia, one was importer-fit and one was dealer-fit.
