Good news to hear it is back on the road. As for brake ss lines, they are available, I can't remember the current sources . For my latest upgrade I just used new stock rubber hoses.
>It seems that the next area I need to tackle is electronic systems. The following items don't work (all fuses look OK): both power mirrors, both power windows, power locks, >quartz clock (erratic), stereo (erratic), power antenna, interior lights and turn signals. I think the turn signal may be a relay issue, which is also on order.
>The question is, should I be looking for one problem that is causing all these issues, or is it a matter of tracing each fault? It seems odd that all these systems would fail on a

The VIN of your car will tell us which fuse box you have, it most likely is the underdash ceramic fuse version. I haven't looked over the wiring diagram to see what your list has is common, but I would guess you've got some wiring and/or fuse box problem. This fuse box isn't necessarily bad, but in stock configuration, some circuits are overloaded and can cause internal melting in the fuse box. There are circuit modifications can that be performed which offload current through relays and then the fuse box can work ok. You should get an 83 wiring diagram and volt meter and do some investigation. I'm sure others will chime in with mods they did to get the electrical working right.
As for fuse box swap from a later car, it can and has been done, but it's quite an undertaking. A bunch of splicing needs to be performed, sometimes its easier to swap over to a wiring harness from the donor car.
Good luck and keep the updates coming.
