[urq] c pillar removing trim

On the C pillar vent's there is an aluminium piece of trim , one on each side , 
where  it connect's to the side windows .  
Whenever I tried to take those off in the past they broke . 

Anyone know how to get them off without damaging them ? 

Same question for the rear window water jet or washer wich is on the right C pilllar . 
I'de prefer to get it off to paint the car rather then to mask it .
