[urq] Strange noise under the hood ...

I drove the urq to work a couple days last week . overall it seemed to run
fairly well. Every time I'd get to my destination I'd have to crank the
idle speed screw in to get it down from 2k RPM at idle. The last day I
forgot to tweak it when I got to work . and as I was almost home I heard an
odd noise in the car as though there was a broken vacuum line or actuator.
When I parked I heard an odd noise under the hood and the battery voltage
was low . so I thought the alternator had gone. Well, today I charged it up
and restarted . and heard a whistle . popped the hood and found the idle
adjustment screw had walked itself all the way out.
I think I've got an old TB somewhere in the garage, but I think it is time
to complete the MC2 conversion. I thought I'd ask if there was any BTDT on
the IM swap. I've got the stock intercooler, so the "Michelin Man" hose
won't fit, but the WX intercooler to TB hose will not be appropriate either.
Any ideas on the solution? Are there any other caveats I haven't thought
of? Since the MC is already in place I'll be able to plumb the bypass air
line (finally).
TIA!
