	Regarding the gas tank repair. A few years ago I had my 83UrQ repaired professionally.
	They cut out the bottom, removed the screen but retained the plate in the bottom that stops
	fuel sloshing away from the pick up area. It was then  coated internally with a plastic and the
	plate welded back to the bottom. They suggested using a simple tubular glass, in-line filter at
	the tank outlet. Worked better after that.

Chris, do you think that with a high quality reusable prefilter in line before the pump that I could just remove the stainless steel sock in the tank as it appears the person did in the link you sent previously?
