Thank you Eric!

For the others of you who, like me, found the link to be nonfunctional, I
believe the site he refers to is http://www.superbrightleds.com

It would be great to see them on a car to see how they work from all angles
... and the differentiation between the taillight and brake light.  That is
perhaps the biggest issue I see with the LEDs on semis ... admittedly
getting better ... 

Of course the situation with possible flaky cruise control remains ... I'm
sure there are some who will claim they have driven their car for years
without a problem, but I would strongly recommend changing the grounding of
the CC brain if you decide to go to LEDs.  Actually, I'll probably leave one
incandescent in the dual bulb plates on my car ...

FYI, my recommendation from a few years ago:

You have to do some rewiring to get the turn signals correct, but the tail
and brake lights work great right out.
