Now that we're  talking  about colloquialisms nobody will even look for
Mike's original observation.
I kept that episode for  years & finally deleted it .
Does anyone have it to share?

Twat is apparently a stronger alternative to the word Twit.
Not commonly used in the US but I've heard it before.

In Chicago the common term for people like Mike is "Jamoke".

I do like Edd  though & have learned a few English terms I didn't know
,like "nick".

*In good nick / in bad nick* = in good (or bad) health or condition
(Informal British English)

   - She’s in pretty *good nick* for an eighty-year-old.
   - Your bike is in *bad nick*, you should buy another one.
