Very true for Ferrari ownership in the modern world. Back in the gas shortage 70's you could pick up a Ferrari for pennies on the dollar from a used car lot. Times have changed indeed!
I must admit that back in the day, I would not have opted for an URQ given the choice of a 911, and in my many years of contacts with URQ owners, I have only met one person that bought one new (and that was last week).
I think most of us own them now because of the relative amount of car and unique (read eclectic, and rare) nature of the beast for cost of entry. At least that's my excuse and I'm stickin to it.

I thought blank checks and no questions asked were for the Ferrari folks!  
Pretty sure that and previous Ferrari ownership are required to get in line for 
the newer "limited" models.
