[urq] urQ rear shocks alternative

Hi everyone,

 

Anybody installed Coupe Quattro/90Q rear shock inserts on an urq ? If so, is
the stiffness near the OEM units ?

 

I'm asking cause I've sold a set of new old stock BOGE automatic front
inserts to a lister, but we can't find an equivalent for the rears. 

 

BOGE is out of stock worldwide, but Sachs shows 2 different inserts for the
type 89. The stiffer one (Sachs 170140, 115$ from RockAuto) was installed on
the sport 90Q, CQ and even on the S2 (turbo 20V version of the CQ, 220 hp,
Euro only). They are supposed to be dimensionally identical to the urQ
inserts, and don't need any modification or adaption to the struts. This
would a bolt-on if the valving is close to the OEM.

 

Anybody has an idea ?
