[urq] Speedo sporadic

It's a small magnet wich is "powered" by the speedo cable .
It's counterpart , wich drives the needle is spring loaded .
The balance between the magnetic slip and the spring
indiicates the vehicle speed .

Looks like the connection between the magnet and the needle
is somehow loose . Most likely it's a light press fit now gone to light . .
That would explain the cold making it better , and the odo still working .
.
A drop of loctite in the right place will cure this , but the tricky part is
to get
there .You will probably need to take the the entire speedo apart .
Maybe practice first on a 4K speedo ?

This is a educated guess I'm making based on symptoms . I never had to take
a speedo apart
this far .Most of the time it's just the odo gear that goes bad .

Good luck
Pat
