[urq] More Weird UrQ Behavior

Hi All,
Yet another factoid in support of Scott J.
In my EFI'd urq, a clogged screen wouldn't let the car drive over 20mph at one point. My tank to fuel pump hose was visibly collapsing and the fuel pump complaining loudly too.
Only a small dribble of fuel came out of that hose when it was opened to test as Scott mentioned.
Once the tank was cleaned out, all was well.
Another thing to think about is the tank vent. I don't know if this is as big a hindrance, but my fuel tank had collapsed noticeably. It made sense when I realized that the fuel starvation was worse with lower fuel levels. IIRC, it was the gravity/rollover valve on the top of the tank that had blocked.
Cheers,
Brady

A couple months ago when I was help deskin a possible fuel problem with a fellow urq owner I had him perform a fuel test. Specifically, measure the amount of fuel that comes out that fuel port at the bottom of the tank in 30seconds. IIRC the fuel was something in the hood of 70gal per hour. That's with an unclogged screen in the tank.
