Do you have a friend in Europe ? That may be the way to go...
10 years ago, I ordered from my canadian dealer all the subframes bushings for an urQ without asking the price first... The lot, all 8 of them, was in the 600$ territory. I refused to pay that dear sum for some simple rubber bushings. One friendly lister, Ado Sigal from Geneva, offered me to buy them at his Swiss dealer for 115$ total. Same OEM genuine bushings, all in proper Audi labeled bags. He even sent them to my Paris hotel a few weeks later for a few euros. Overall, that was less than 150$ including 8 new bolts (that should be replaced too since they are of the stretch-bolt variety).
Any Euro lister left here ?

Objet : Re-use Subframe Bushings?
Hi there, The patient is a 1989 Audi 90 quattro. I recently found a crack in the rear subframe that has been getting larger. I got a replacement from Chris Semple but the bushings in it are shot. Pricing at Jim Ellis Audi or ECS Tuning is crazy for one of the bushings (95.00) and it doesn't seem that any aftermarket rubber bushings are available anymore for this old and unique auto. I believe the ones on my cracked subframe are in good shape. Is it possible to remove them without destroying them?
Alternatively, does anyone have source for some reasonably-priced bushings? I've checked the usual - ecstuning, partsgeek, autohausaz, etc.
Suggestions?
Thanks, Chris Perry
