[V6-12v] 96 A4 with squealing from front of engine

Hello,

My 96 A4Q has a squealing coming from the front of the engine bay.  The TB/water pump/acc belt are about 10 mos old.  The sound appears to be coming from the drivers side of the front, and I'm guessing it's either the fan clutch/bearing or the alternator, based on where the noise is coming from.  The sound appeared once the outside temps dropped to circa mid 40s or lower.  

Any BTDT or thoughts on if this is DIY?  I haven't done too much with working on this car this car other than maintenence (much more exp with I-5s)
