Did it on an 87 5ktq, but I don't think it's that much different from the
later body type.

First thing I did was to try to clear the drain hole by the rear pillar from
the top. I tried to snake a line from the sun roof to the pillar drain along
the trough and then from the rear passenger light fixture. This was pretty
frustrating and I don't know how much it cleared. I also went to the local
shop and they were kind enough to let me use their air compressor and a line
as a snake. That's what I used to clear the drain on top. From the bottom
drain in the rear wheel well I tried to snake a line up that drain but
because of the way the line turned it was impossible to get a line to go up
more than a foot or so. I wound up taking the trunk lining out, disconnecting
the rubber drain hose and snaking the line up the rear pillar.

As I said this procedure worked for the 87 5ktq and I don't know how much is
applicable to the later body style, C4??.
