[V6-12v] CV joints, wheel bearings, The Dreaded Clunk

Folks,

The CV joints on my 94 90S are clicking when I accelerate lightly during
turns (both left and right - but if I recall correctly more when turning
left). I suspect the outer joints are shot after 10 years of service...
Replacement looks pretty straight forward, but now that I'm in there
anyway, I thought I'd look into a few things:

1: It's been a while since last time I crawled around under the car, but
I don't recall seeing any torn boots. But I thought of replacing the
inner CV joint boots now that I'm taking things apart anyway. Should I
do anything to the inner CV joint?

2: Should I do anything to the wheel bearings? I think they are OK (no
weird noises), but which preventive maintenance should I have in mind? I
don't have the tools for removing/installing the bearings...
3: I recall something about The Dreaded Clunk from the front suspension.
Something about a bushing that needs to be replaced. When I first got
the car (mid Spring 2003) a clunk was emitted from the front during
"sporty" acceleration. I don't recall hearing the clunk recently, but I
may just have gotten used to the sound. But if it isn't a major pain or
major expense I thought of replacing that bushing anyways... But which
bushing is it and where is it located?

Thanks,

	Tom
