This sounds better (i.e., more to my abilities). My ignition
switch is in the dashboard, not into the side of the steering
wheel.  I couldn't believe (well, actually I could) Audi would
make you remove the air bag and steering wheel to change an
instrument light.

Maybe I'll take a peek at it later today/this week.  Thank you
one and all for pointing me in the right direction.

I hope to write it up for Audifans' Twiki KnowledgeBase when I
get a chance.
