I'm experiencing a similar leak on my '95 90Q. Someone on the list
suggested the valley pan as well. I took a peak around my intake manifold
and saw a some fresh oil run off so I think that's where my leak is coming
from. Other places where leaks can be found are the rear main engine seal
(must remove transmission to replace)and the valve cover gaskets.
If you do end up finding the procedure for the R&R of the Valley Pan gasket
please share it with me. :)

Subject: [V6-12v] The heartbreak of oil leaks
In about a week, I'm going to start the process of fixing the oil leaks on
my wife's 1993 90Q. I suspect the valley pan gasket under the intake
manifold, but I want to work through this thing and NOT stop until it's
tight. I don't care how deep into it I have to get, I want these d**n leaks
stopped!
Right now when it's parked for an hour it leaves an oil pool the size of my
palm. ENOUGH!!!!
I know members of this list can tell me the spots that are common sources of
oil leaks on the 2.8 V6. Please give me your list of the places to check for
oil leaks on that motor!
Thanks....
