[V6-12v] Oil Light

You might want to try a thicker oil.
I found that in Florida's native summer weather, a 10W30 simply thinned
out too much at both the lowest temps (i.e. 40 degrees C, where the 10
weight is applicable) and at the highest temps (i.e. - 115 - 145
degrees C, past the 100 degrees C point where the 30 weight is
applicable). Running a 20W50 has kept the pressure above the two bar
line on even the longest/hardest of runs (i.e. - 130 mph for three
hundred miles, followed by putting in stop-and-go traffic to get to a
gas station).

I also tend to flush the oil with an oil flush product (Gunk brand oil
flush) every oil change or every other oil change, which has removed
most of the varnish build-up the car had when we acquired it.
