I checked the NHTSA (National Highway Transportation Safety
Administration) website, in the Office of Defects Investigation at
http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems/recalls/recallsearch.cfm
to get more information. You can enter the campaign ID number
"98V332000" into the seach to get information on this particular
defect. I believe you can call your dealerships and find out if yours
has undergone defect repair based on your VIN.
