[V6-12v] Steering noise

[Lino M. Valadas]

Clive thanks for the tip,

But I think I may have you beat in the cheap fix department.

I had traced the noise to the steering column in the engine compartment.  I
still couldn't tell where it was coming from exactly, but squirted some
silicone spray in that vicinity and the noise went away.  I did this last
week and so fat no noise.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
