I'm gonna dispute your numbers here ... The recommendations I've seen
for minimum fuel octane are 95 RON for AAH and AAH/AFC engines, and 91
RON for straight AFC engines. 95 RON is a good rule of thumb for all
12v engines.
Around here[1], "octane" means "(R+M)/2" (or AKI) ... I think 92 AKI is
the recommended minimum. Running more than one or two octane higher
than what's on the fuel door is probably just as bad as running too low
octane.
