The rule of thumb is MON ~= (RON-10), so AKI ~= (RON-5). More or less.

Agreed ... people think they can get away with buying midgrade, but you
really shouldn't. In a pinch, you can put it in, and the ECU has a
different fuel/timing map to compensate, but it will totally gunk up the
top end.
