[V6-12v] Project Audi - outside temp display illumination

Clive,

The bulb (12V 50mA I think it was) I got from crap shack (as you politely 
put it) had a sort of a base one it. It still had the solder pins, but the 
bottom of the bulb was wider than the top. So it wouldn't fit through the 
hole in the backlight fixture. A 1/8" (or was it 3 mm) drill solved that 
problem... Just be careful not to crack the plastic.
