[V6-12v] Re: Metering!!

Hi Fans

Just yesterday I was driving home from work and I was approaching these traffic lights. 
As I was stepping on the breaks I noticed that my car was off - it had cut off the engine. 
I started it and it was fine but then the speedometer is no longer functioning, the display 
in the middle (on-board computer showing fuel consumption, litres, etc) displays but no 
effects when you 
drive as if it is no longer working. I've tried to reset but in vain. First thing I checked the 
fuses but everything is OK. What could be the problem on my A6 V6-2.8 1996.

Help Please.
