	Evaporator as in (8D1 820 103 E33 600) costing $336.00 and I already
own it.. Yes it is located under the dash and that's what makes the job such
a PITA.. I don't know the specifics on exactly what it does but all I know
is that when it's broke I have NO A/C :(
I'll reply to the rest of the responses l8r..

Thanks,
-Calvyn-

I sent a message in response to "Calvyn" <Calvyn at stny.rr.com> earlier...and
I just realized what he may mean by "evaporator". If he means the unit
inside the car, under the dash, inside the climate control box, which
provides the cold surface for air to flow through, then that's probably a
dealer-only or wrecking-yard-only item and not available at parts stores.
If it were mine, I'd check wrecking yards rather than buy new. Most of them
never have a problem...and I'll bet they're leventy-seven prices from the
dealer.

And I'll bet they are unmitigated %&!@#(@#% to change!!!!!!
