Yes Tom you are right
The glove box is 4 easily accessable screws and the whole thing lifts away.
and the AC condensor is inside the ducting behind it. It doesn't look too
bad but you never know.
For the folks who asked the evaporator/ condensor is the "business" end of
your AC. it has a lot of surface area and is basically a big radiator in
reverse. It is super cold and when the warm air passes accross it , it cools
the air and exchanges the heat . The "warmer " freon is then pumped back to
the compressor and it starts over. The warm air as it is cooled releases
moisture as cooler air can not hold as much moisture ( see... Rain ) so
there is a drain tube on it that should run outside the car. Oh by the way
if you passenger carpet is wet while you have the AC on ...the drain tube is
clogged...
