I guess I missed the beginning of this thread, so I don't know what
you're talking about :)

There are three resistance values that you should check:

- Between terminals 1 and 2, you should see between 1500 and 2600 ohms.
- Between terminals 2 and 3, you should see between 750 and 1300 ohms at
  closed throttle.
- Between terminals 2 and 3, you should see no more than 3600 ohms at
  WOT.

If any of those three values are off, then there's a problem with that
potentiometer and you should think about replacing it.  Remember that
you're just checking the extremes; if the resistance is wrong when you
check at WOT, that doesn't mean that only WOT resistance is off -- it
indicates that there's probably a problem with either the wiper or the
track.
