[V6-12v] seizing caliper

I used your link as a guide but our brakes are different. No external
spring unless both mine fell off of course.
There was some restriction with the return on the ebrake and the return on
the ebrake is obviuosly paramount. I didn't think it would be enough to be a
factor but after I had finished removing the rust around the ebrake seal and
jammed some disk brake lubricant in their , it seamed a whole lot better.
I am not sure if this is a good fix but this is what I did .
1. Remove 13mm nut from e brake actuator shaft ( use lots of penetrating
fluid here )
2. remove e brake actuating lever from spline ( i used an impact happer
with a point ).
3. Remove inner e brake cable holder.
( I took the caliper off at this point for access )
4. Using small flat blade screwdriver scrape off all rust and crap built
up between ebrake seal and shaft
5. Coat liberally with disk brake lubricant, pushing between seal and
shaft with small screwdriver.
After I had it all back to gether seams pretty good. Only time will tell.
