It's just short of $27 on vwparts... The stealership wants $34 for the 
rubber line, and if I recall correctly, $50+ for the stainless line.

I can get stainless lines for $30 at Bowwow...

The German brake lines use a special fitting so I wouldn't count on NAPA 
having the right ones in stock. OTOH, as far as I understand it, all German 
cars use these, so there's definitely a non-zero probability of NAPA having 
them in stock...
