I paid exactly $150 for my GKN CV joints. They have an audi part number on
them... Supposed to be OEM. www.thepartsconnection.com.
The joints are easy to get off. Just reinsert the old center bolt, turn,
and they'll pop right off.
You'll need a 12-point (I think it's an 8 mm or maybe 9 mm) "allen" key
thingy as well.
I posted the full procedure not long time ago (maybe 2 months ago). Search
for it in the archive. Use at your own risk.
