Also depends what you mean by 'and friends' - many people take the
opportunity to replace the thermostat and water pump, which will take more
time, and draining/ refilling the coolant to do so will also take more
time... Making sure you have all the relevant 'special tools' will also make
your life a lot easier, quicker and you'll get the job right - don't attempt
to mark the cams to do this one, you need the special tools (3242 and 3243
from memory) to get the two cams aligned to each other and the crank
properly. If you can't hire them they're expensive to buy. You may find it
easier and cheaper in the long run to take it to your local Audi workshop
for this one...
