[V6-12v] Shocks Nightmare

Trying to get new shocks fro my car . My Canadian AUDI 90S apparantly has shocks that are not the same as the US. At least that is what I am assuming. the ones I keep getting sent are too short . the P/n on the shock is 8A0 513 029 AC. Any of you guys have experience with this ? It is a non quatro and I have had no luck finding this shock .. other than at the dealer for $300.00 each !
