Well, that page does say:
These instructions assume:
* You have a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) and
that it is operational
This page gives you the options for 10V, 20V, and V8, but no V6:

I'm not sure where you'd look for the connectors on the 90,
assuming they are there. It may be wisest to get the MIL light
working.
