[V6-12v] reverse lights?

I'd check the wires the pass along the trunk lid hinges.
Age and the flexing over time causes the wires to break,
much like flexing a paper clip. When the wires break,
you get odd behavior, as the wires can "reconnect" for
a moment, causing the problem to go away.
