Are you sure the connector and wiring from the ignition output stage TO the
coils is OK? Sounds like you might have a bad connector, or break in the
wiring to me and a new coil won't make any difference if it's not getting a
feed.
Probably worth a check, or a new connector and length of wire before you
swap out any more coil packs or anything more troublesome to test.
