The RS6 is an awsome car.
I just tried it (got it in October) out in the snow, and while it is not a
disaster, let's just say I am real glad to have the 1993 100csq Avant still
around with 115k miles on it. The RS has too much power and the wrong tires for
6 plus inches of snow. I have a feeling that even an inch would be interesting.
My wife's S6 Avant has the latest Michelin Pilot Sports on it, and it does very
well in the snow. The 2002 S6 rotors warp after about 12k miles of driving and
so far have been replaced under warrantee each time.
The 4.2 Allroad seems like an interesting car. Ah, decisions, decisions!!!
