I've had good luck getting stuck hoses off heater cores by pouring boiling
water over them. Once they get warm and soft, the hoses will pull right
off. The disadvantage is that hot water will follow the pipes through the
firewall (or at least it did on my Camaro when I changed the heater core in
it) into the passenger compartment --> wet floor... You might be able to
get the hoses off at the engine cooling lines or something.... Then run
water through the heater core until it runs clear.

You'll lose some coolant, but not everything (hopefully). You don't have to
drain the block or radiator. Maybe you can clamp the hoses off to limit the
coolant loss.
