Hello all,
I'm about to start to investigate an increasing noisy right front on my 1995
90, non-quattro. I've just done shocks and didn't find anything amiss at
that time. What I'm getting is a rattle/thunk front the right front at low
speeds (under 30mph) over bumpy surfaces, either it is not happening or it's
being masked at higher speeds. The old struts were very tired and I had
assumed that the noise was a rattling strut assembly. The noise was
unaffected by the strut change.
Does any one with front suspension wisdom have a suggestion of the best way
to start?
