[V6-12v] Audi timing tools

Folks,

Thanks to the help from several list members, I have drawings for the cam
locking tool for the 2.8 V6.

However, I don't have dimensions for the crank pin. It's supposed to go in
the crank position sensor hole, so by measuring that sensor, I can figure
out which kind of bolt to make the tool from. The question then becomes: Is
the part that engages with the flywheel of smaller dimension than the bolt
itself? How much smaller?

Does anyone have the tool, a slide caliper, and willingness to share the
measurements of the crank pin?

Or in lieu of actual measurements of the tool, does anyone have ready
access to a flywheel and the capability of accurately measuring the
dimensions (width, depth) of the notch the tool is supposed to engage with?

Thanks,

	Tom
