[V6-12v] first problem sooner than later***Updade***

Ron,

The fusebox is under the hood on the port side (driver's side in most countries). It's a black box located in that little "shelf" by the windshield. If you're lucky it'll even have the original fuse puller on the top... At least this has been the fuse box location for all the Audi's I've seen.

I believe it is possible to get the radio code from the dealer by giving them the serial number of the radio. Give them a call before you disconnect the battery.
