[V6-12v] Audi 90 sport suspension

Hi Guys 

I have discovered that my 90 with the sport suspensiuion takes shocks that are 2" shorter than the standard suspension ( the BOGES i was sent are longer). That leads to my next question. If the overall length of the strut is shorter, should that not lower my car by 2" ? I wonder if I few guys could do a quick measurement so we can do a survey. measure the distance from the grond to the fender at the middle of the rear wheel and state wether you have a sport/ non sport or quatro. I think we might get some interesting data. I am going to measure mine now..
