[V6-12v] A/C always coming on.

If the controller is set to defrost (upper vents), the A/C kicks on  
even if the A/C button is off and the heat is cranked all the way up.  
Audi's engineers figured cooling (to dehumidify) then heating the air  
before throwing it at the windshield is the most effective way of  
clearing the windshield in bad weather.
If that's not it, relay or electrical issues.
