[V6-12v] heater core

It's under the windshield wipers in a case with the
blower motor and airflow control flaps. I highly
recommend getting a Bentley manual to do this. It's
not too bad a job really on the 100 or A6 compared to
most cars. You don't have to dismantle the dash like
in many cars (i.e. Auid 90), the case gets removed
from under the hood. Seriously consider replacing the
heater valve and associated coolant hoses.
