[V6-12v] Rear door speakers

Folks,

The amps for my rear speakers have developed a bad connection
somewhere which causes the sound to drop out every now and then.
Needless to say, this is highly annoying. Now that I'll be tearing the
dash apart to replace the heater core anyway, I figured it would be a
golden opportunity to run wires for new rear speakers.

Do you have any suggestions for which speakers that will fit in the
rear doors of a 1994 90S?

I'm looking for something that works with the interior and gives
decent sound (at least up to par with the original speakers). I'm not
looking for 1kW amps with bass drivers that will rupture my eardrums,
implode my eyes, and rattle my licence plate.
