[V6-12v] No start fault

Guys,
Good thing I bought the Quattro the other day: took my trusty and
well-cared-for 2WD out for a run last night to keep her ticking over nicely
until the engine swap. Stopped at a friends house and then came out and she
wouldn't start.
Fuel supply is fine, but no spark - ARGH! I'll try pulling the fault codes
later today, but she was driving perfectly til I stopped and switched off
the engine. I know a few sensors can cause a no-start: from memory, engine
speed sensor, crank position sensor, and cam position sensor (hall sender),
but any other ideas out there?
Cheers,
James
